"I think I came into it disgruntled bc of a switch n main promotion that charged me almost twice what was advertised. The controls on the a/c were a bit busted up but functional. It was pretty loud when on. I travel internationally. I often stay at more upscale establishments than this. This was the first time I was treated at the desk with less attentiveness than the person who’d just seen served. Even if I have zero clout or have been driving for eight hours and am disheveled, I’m paying....

"The Eureka Inn has a lot of history, beautiful lobby with fireplace, rooms are clean and nice. It could have a bar and a restaurant but that has been closed since Covid. Staff is one person on the front desk , it has potential, but it seems there is just not enough customers to support it."

"We were very disappointed in this hotel. The word Boutique in the title threw us off. The lobby is very nice, but you don’t sleep in the lobby. We were looking forward to a special experience, but it was little better than a hostel. The heater/air conditioner made noise constantly and sounded like somebody was dragging a plastic bag through a shredder. We turned it off before we went to sleep and the air was fine in the room. So the air temperature was good but the bedding provided no warmth...

"It is a neat hotel with character. It is clean and well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but there are definitely some negatives: The breakfast was pitiful. I was forced to go out for breakfast. There is no dedicated parking and since the hotel is located in the middle of a tourist town, finding street parking was not easy. I had to park several blocks from the hotel. There were often homeless people congregating on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. I would have to walk around them...

"Our suite was elegant and spacious. The staff were wonderful. Loved our stay. The breakfast had many good choices."

"Handicapped bathroom.had two showerheads, one didn’t work. Shower had a clear strip on the floor that was all dirty black. Also had a black rubberized mat in front of shower, very dirty. Sink had something jammed in drain and water started filling up sink. Not very clean."
