Find 3 Star Hotels in Rescue, CA from SAR 340

"When I checked in, I was told to park in the rear of the hotel. The clerk stated, "Go through the rear door take the elevator to the 3rd floor your room is right there!" When I went through the rear door, there was NO signage indicating the location of the elevator! Myself and other guests were walking up and down corridors looking for the elevator. One guest I came across said she found an elevator near the front of the hotel, but it was out of service. No one at the front desk mentioned this fact and were providing minimal information to the guests. Once we did find the elevator, it was very small and tucked away in a back corner. My room BTW was nowhere near the elevator. I felt bad for elderly guests with mobility issues that were placed in rooms at the front of the hotel on the upper floors. As I was in my room on the 3rd floor, the entire room shook as people were moving around on the veranda of the 2nd & 3rd floors. As people maneuvered hotel luggage carts and or suitcases around on the verandas it felt as if the hotel might collapse at any minute. I believe the structural integrity of the building needs to be evaluated before a catastrophic event occurs. As for the Bar/Lounge, I wouldn't waste my time! The breakfast area had many selections; however, the kids took over the waffle stations. The eggs reminded me of military field rations (if you know you know) aka powdered eggs. You can be Guaranteed one thing! I will never stay at this property EVER again!"

"We were pleasantly surprised how nice this facility was. Sometimes when a property says “pet friendly “ it can be kind of run down. This is a new hotel and it looks well taken care of. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and the coffee was always available with flavored creamers! The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. I would recommend that they make the entry to the dog park closer to the hotel. It’s at the end of the property. My puppy barely made it to pee. That is my only concern and otherwise I highly recommend it."
