"Room was okay, and breakfast was very good. A really nice terrace for breakfast. Our bed was rather firm, and the design of the shower in bathtub made it very difficult to shower without water getting all over the floor. The elevators were small and required one elevator to get to the lobby on the 4th floor, and a second elevator to get to the room on the 3rd floor. You had to then go up to the 4th floor and switch elevators to leave the hotel."

"The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. However, the floor of the room was never swept so it was sandy and the beds were never changed. The shower was small with poor drainage and therefore uncomfortable to use. The staff were very friendly."

"Very nice hotel conveniently situated on Via Etnea. More than happy with my room, spacious and clean though, as stated in other reviews, there was no soap and the air con was just for show. Those two gripes aside I would recommend this hotel as a good base from which to visit Catania."
"The location of the property is great - close walk to the centre of Ortigia and a sea view. Don't be fooled by the photos - the terrace is not connected to any of the rooms and is accessed via the rooftop. Rooms with sea view have a small window only. Decor is very dated and fixtures are old but beds are clean and comfortable. There is an elevator.
Breakfast is ok compared to what we had at other hotels. continental only. Would not pay for it if it wasn't included.

"This was my favorite stay in Sicily! I love the elevator and the staff were really nice and accommodating. I also want to point out the excellent AC inside the room. I would only suggest a bottle of water inside the room and a personal tea/ coffee station."
