"Convenient for late arrival to Catania ( easy bus transport from airport) and early morning onward transport following day due to proximity to train and bus terminal.
Dont expect too much, but certainly fine for an overnight with onward plans."
"Overall a good stay. Like other reviews state, this is an older place and could use a bit of a makeover. Room was clean. Air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was typical Italian hotel breakfast which was good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Location is excellent. There is no parking if you are driving."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Close to everything - sea, restaurants and shops. 5 minute walk to the market. Big room. Friendly staff. It has a great rooftop terrace. A little misleading about the pool - it is at the other property across the street and costs $20 euros for an hour. We parked at a public multi-level garage - about an 8 minute walk. The property is in a ZTL. Loved Ortigia."

"This hotel was a delightful surprise. All the luxuries of a fancy big name hotel but with the charm of a small European downtown hotel. We were not looking forward to driving our rental SUV in Catania's narrow streets, so we took our rental back to the airport right away, and used the hotel's service of reserving a ride back to the airport in the morning. $30 euros for a very nice and clean vehicle and great driver who even helped us with carrying luggage from our second floor room (strangely,...
"Older building with older amenities but a great view of the courtyard. I would stay again. A number of different restaurants that are walking distance. We had a very nice time stairs only i didn't see a elevator"
"Room was okay, and breakfast was very good. A really nice terrace for breakfast. Our bed was rather firm, and the design of the shower in bathtub made it very difficult to shower without water getting all over the floor. The elevators were small and required one elevator to get to the lobby on the 4th floor, and a second elevator to get to the room on the 3rd floor. You had to then go up to the 4th floor and switch elevators to leave the hotel."
