"This stay was disappointing. When we arrived, we immediately noticed that the building is in a run down state. The pictures online were very strategic in getting all the good sides.
The room: standard room, floors riddled with stains, staining on the ceiling from some water leakage, view directly to a giant garbage bin with a mattress thrown into it. One night we heard some noises from the pipes in the room, and it did not sound like water.
The first night we arrived they only had two meals...

Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location."

"We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel."
"Classic double room king bed turned out to be a very small double, with just enough space for 1 person really..So a bit disappointing...Staff were very helpful and food in restaurant was good."
"This a very nice inn in a quaint Scottish village just outside Stanraer. I can be tricky to get to it if you don’t have a car. Call for a taxi in advance.
The staff is fantastic and extremely friendly. The people in the area are great."
"We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs.
It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access.
The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests."

This place was great and the staff were all so helpful. Really impressed. I’m very glad I gave the breakfast a try because it was well worth it. They are very accommodating here and all the food is fresh.
