We travel around Japan and have been living in many similar styled ryokans and rarely run into such disappointments. The hotel obviously has dinner option. But neither Expedia nor the hotel provide proper communication for such option. "Lovely setting in the hills with a nice golf course. We didn't use the spa or pool. Room was good size and comfortable. The food was ok with both dinner and breakfast buffet style. We enjoyed our short stay."
