"Stone Town is an amazing place. The hotel is well located and the decor is simple but classy. The roof terrace was great and breakfast was adequate. I took a room with a bathroom down the hall and it felt as if I was in a house. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"I paid circa $50 for one night here on a work trip. For that price I think it was a complete bargain. Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on food (so many choices within a 5-10 min walk). This is not a luxury hotel like a Hyatt or Serena. Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location, nice bed and bathroom with lovely staff. Will stay again and willing to pay a little more. "

"Loved the property so much that we stayed twice. Excellent customer service. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and we had no issues while staying here. I would recommend staying here as it is close to the market and local attractions. The bungalows are spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day.
