"We had a comfortable stay in a very spacious corner room. Location is just a 5 minute walk from the Tres Cantos train station which offers a 25 minute journey into Central Madrid so was very convenient for us.
I paid for one of the underground parking spaces but would have been fine parking in one of the spaces outside so was a bit of a waste of money really.
Helpful staff on reception made up for the slightly lacklustre feel of the hotel. It just felt like it needed a bit of a spruce up.

"The hotel is bad need for a makeover. Furniture was right out of the 60's budget store. There was only one electrical outlet and it was at the entrance to the room at floor level. Bed was overly firm. To be fair the washroom looked to be renovated and was good and clean the main entrance facade was modern and inviting but as soon as you entered the lobby you realize that it was downhill from there. Way overpriced for what you get."
"Sauber, ruhig und Zimmer bot perfekten Blick auf El Escorial. Frühstück direkt daneben, kurze Wege zum Zentralen Platz und zur Busstation und zu El Escorial."
"Receptionists were okay, friendly and tried to be helpful and accommodating. Plenty of free easy parking on side streets.
Problems started at check in, as there was a problem with the room booked, and we were offered two separate rooms. After a bit of moving about and looking, we accepted the two rooms instead at no extra charge so we were happy with this.
The rooms however were not in the best condition or the cleanest. In the first room, there was a LOT of black mould under the sink that...
"Clean room. Friendly staff. Prices for lunch and dinner in the cafeteria are very reasonable. Not difficult to reach airport and chamartin station by bus or train."
"This is a unique hotel. It's quite different from a traditional American hotel, but it has all what you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is basic, but nice to have. Staff are very friendly, but the language was a barrier. It would have helped if I knew some Spanish!
Hotel management communicates via Whatsapp, which was helpful when I asked for an iron and ironing table."
