"Was a nice enough stay, cute little rooms off in a separate building, information said was soundproof but the windows/door was to outside so a little thin and let light in - and as it was a gravel area outside people walking/cars parking was quite noisy. The bed was maybe a little short it seemed, feet were basically on the footboard the whole night, but otherwise a very comfy bed. No windows in the bathroom but was nice and spacious. The reception desk wasn't obvious but otherwise it was a nice stay. A nice stay over all, and the food in the restaurant was good, would definitely go back again one day."

"The Litcham Bull Inn was absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable and had a good hot shower. Dinner was wonderful- delicious comfort food in a cosy pub atmosphere. Do not skip pudding; they are generous with the custard which we love! I wish we had had more time to linger over a glass of wine. Sue, the owner and host, was extremely kind and helpful. We had a short window to eat dinner before heading to a nearby concert, and she allowed us to pre-order our meals so they were ready upon our arrival. And when she heard we had to depart early in the AM, she packed a go-bag of sandwiches, fruit, water and crisps for us in place of the cooked breakfast that we didn’t have time for. We really appreciated this when we were on our train at 6:45 AM! Lovely pub with great food and service and a good room, too. Thank you, Sue and team! "

"Room was nice, clean and tidy, ideal location for visiting the Castle and Abby. Food was delicious and local beers on tap.Excellent service in the bar and restaurant. "I arrived at the property and it was immediately clear that the bedsheets had not been changed. There were muddy paw prints and visible dog hairs all over the bedding. I contacted the host straight away, who offered to change the bedding but insisted it was “clean, just stained” and that this had been missed by the cleaners. However, if the bedding was clean, it should not have had dog hair on it. This raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the property. If something as basic as fresh bedding had not been done, I did not feel confident that other items such as towels or surfaces had been properly cleaned either. As a result, I did not feel comfortable staying and had to leave immediately and find alternative accommodation. Despite this, the host has refused to issue a refund, even though I was unable to stay due to the condition of the property on arrival. Very disappointing experience and not what I expect when booking paid accommodation"
