"Parking easy. Room clean and adequately spacious. Restaurant a bit cafeteria-ish to look at but food excellent (possible exception breakfast eggs for some reason, but OK), and staff friendly and very helpful."
"The staff were welcoming and helpful.
The room was not large but we didnt intend spending much time inside. It was clean and the bathroom had been refurbished. It's the first place in the UK where a hair-dryer has been provided in our room.
Breakfast could be purchased but we didn't use that option. I did go down and have a look and it had a great variety but it was too hot in the room.
It was a great location so it did get noisy with traffic and revellers but it was manageable. A bus stop...

* Unfortunately no tea/coffee facilities in the room
* Bathroom had 2 lighting options which meant low or high lighting could be used
* Shower pressure and temperature could have been better
* Parlour Cafe was bright and fresh
* However the milk was off so unable to have cereal...
"The room was very small for 3 people, it was not easy to move when the cot was down, tripped going to the washroom the middle of the night. The washroom was cute, and small. Did try the breakfast, as we had an early flight. Over all it was good."
"We arrived from Canada early in the morning, and although our room was not ready, they did have a room that we could have. There was an additional fee for the early check-in, which we gladly paid. What we did not know was that it was a handicap room, which was not something we needed and, had we known, we would probably have turned it down. We did not partake of their breakfast, but had bought some items and used both the fridge and the microwave oven.

"Stay as usual was very good. Only fly in the ointment was that when I first went into the room I noticed the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. We had to go out immediately so called the hotel to ask them to refill it while we were out. Unfortunately when we got back some three hours later it had not been done. We called reception and this was sorted in a few mins but should have been done earlier"
"I liked the location and didn’t like the Hygine of the hotel also the fact that there are no room service is a big issue. Also some of the staff was rude but the others are supportive"
"The hotel is very convenient for the train station. The room was ok apart from the carpet needing a good vacuum, a lot of dust build up in the low traffic areas. The floor tiles in the bathroom were all loose, but not a safety issue.
For the price and location it is a reasonable place to stay."
