"The house itself was wonderful-spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. It was easy to relax and felt like a great base for our trip. The beds and sheets were clean, and there were plenty of towels, which we appreciated. There were a few issues that took away from the experience. When we arrived, the heating wasn’t on and there were no instructions in the guest book, so we had to message the property manager to figure out how to turn it on. There was also no firewood provided....

"It was great to have a washing machine. Didn’t notice that the dryer was out the door and in its own room until I’d already dried everything by hanging it around the apartment. Oops!"

"Apart from the potholes getting to the cottage it was great. We could see the Milky Way when the sky was clear! Would love to stay for an extended period of time if we manage to come again in the future."

"This was a nice place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved how isolated it is, and it had great views of the stars. The description is misleading/wrong though. You do not get a whole cottage to yourself. It it more of a duplex where the host lives on one side of the building. It says to get keys from the neighbor which we assumed was a different house, but its not and the actual neighbor is quite annoyed that people keep showing up asking for keys. "Room was fine but has a great deal of road noise. The bed was very creaky and the pillows were very hard. The place was clean but more like a hostel than a hotel in feel. Great breakfast though and a good value stay for those in a budget. "
