"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. "The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked, the shower head and toilet bowl were dirty. Both these things ought to be spotless in a hotel, if they have cleaners then they are not doing their job properly!! The room was set for one person when the booking stated 2. We asked for another mug but didn’t realise about just one large towel until we had a shower and at that point just shared as unable to contact the desk unless we walked over to them. The price was cheap but even so...
