"Excellent property that far exceeded our expectations. We had a last minute change in plans and had to stay in Ios for the night. Value was incredible. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely spacious rooms with huge balconies and great views, amazing location (at the steps up to Chora, easy quick walk to the port, bus stop out the front and the beach a quick walk away). Lovely pool area that we could sit at before/after check in and use toilets/showers in required. They were happy to store our (large...
"Great price, affordable island, free shuttle to the beach. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were nice as was the view from it. Peaceful area no issues sleeping. Free sunbeds thanks to their association with the beach club. Would come back for sure."
"This hotel is wonderful. The staff are super helpful (arranging car rentals, answering questions, offering tips about the island). Cristina was so helpful and a pleasure to talk with. The room was comfortable, the breakfast fantastic, and the experience was positive in every way. If you go to Folegandros, I recommend this hotel without qualifications."
"Beautiful hotel and AMAZING staff!!! We did not get in until 3 in the morning and the manager was kind enough to stay and wait until our arrival. 10/10 experience here!"
"Lovely place to stay! Great views of the caldera. I think most every room has amazing views. I highly recommend to everyone. We stayed in room 9 on the second floor and we had plenty of room in the bathroom and bedroom."
"Such a nice place to stay. Stylish, a minute of two from the beach with simple but classy rooms. But the whole experience was lifted sky high by the overwhelming friendliness and helpfulness of Dimitrios and all the staff. It’s a family business, and boy could you tell how much pride they take in their hospitality. Everything is immaculate. Congratulations, and thanks for a memorable few days."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Review for Kostra Hotel - Oia, Santorini.
I had the pleasure of staying at Kostra Hotel from June 14–17, 2026, and my experience was absolutely superb!
The rooms were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally comfortable. The views were simply breathtaking and everything you dream of when visiting Santorini. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was the owner and manager, Dimitri. His hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded all of...
"Chambre agréable, grande avec une très belle vue sur la mer, 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains, terrasse, proche du port, de la plage, bon petit déjeuner (payant ) mais copieux."
"Very clean cozy hotel, with a nice swimming pool area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I don’t give them a 5 just because there’s no shuttle bus service from the Port and it’s quite far from it (and taking a taxi is expensive since there aren’t public buses going all the way there). Other than that, everything was very pleasant. Breakfast service was also very good compared to other hotels."
"Excelente lugar, todo impecable, la ubicación inmejorable; la comida riquísima; el personal super amables. Todos los detalles muy cuidados. Muy recomendable."
"We had a great stay for one night in Ios - wish we were there for longer! The bus dropped us right by the stop mentioned by the host and this was walkable to the property (about 10 mins). It was lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. We had everything we needed for our short stay and the host was very prompt at arriving to give us the keys. "
