"This cottage was just perfect for my husband and I. So clean, and decorated so charming. We have family in Bandera, and it was so much fun playing fooze ball."

"The cabin was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like are the 2 windows on top don’t have curtains to cover them up but other then that they were perfect. Don’t understand the “mandatory fee” for the rental."

The property is absolutely beautiful! There was 8 of us that stayed at the property and there was more than enough room for all of us and our 2 small dogs! "We loved the fact that it was isolated away from everyone and everything and all we could hear was nature! We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning and the deer walking around us at night. The night skies are amazing with all the stars shining. We caught some rain which was perfect to watch from the wrap around porch. Only thing I’ll add is the cabin needed a full size refrigerator because I took frozen foods and they only provided a small size fridge."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...
