"Hotel is in a great location - just over 15 minute walk to the train station, close to shops and the Cathedral - looks like the downstairs has been elegantly renovated. Beautiful newly-refurbished bedroom, with some really thoughtful extra touches - such as a rubber bathmat and handrail, electric fan, suitcase stand, and biscuits every day with the tea and coffee. I liked being able to open the window. Some of the staff seemed less friendly and professional than one would expect - however,...

"The hotel was lovely and met all our needs. The food was great and the beds super comfy . The only problem to me was the overbearing air freshener which they seem to pump out throughout the hotel . It was far too strong for me ( migraine sufferer). Fortunately it did not smell in my room ."

"The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. "Staff were brilliant, rooms have been let go from a maintenance point of view. Food was tasty but very over priced, especially the breakfast. Would have made a complaint if I’d had to pay £18 for that had it not been included with the nights stay. Drinks reasonably priced though."

"The room was a bit rough around the edges especially the bathroom ..was a bit too far out of the city ,especially with all the traffic on the main road in and out of Cheltenham also there was no sign on the roundabout wouldn't go there again would pay£ 20 to 30per night more to stay somewhere better"
