"There was hardly any room to put our suitcases. The beds were old and creaky. I’ve never seen shower controls so old. The amenities provided were only soap. No shampoo or conditioner. Surfaces were a bit dusty. No aircon so we had to leave our room window open.
It was too expensive as well for what we received. We weren’t even advised if breakfast until we asked about it and then she asked us what time did we want to book it for.
And they charge 10 pound for parking when it is free until 9am...
"The room was mainly clean but some fluff in the cupboard. Staff were very helpful and there is plenty of parking on site. Beautiful area at the base of Snowdon just a few minutes walk from the train."
"Our visit was planned to join family who were camping nearby. We requested a twin room and was very disappointed to be given a disabled room although clean was very basic. Breakfast order was requested and a time at which to eat it even before given keys to our room. I can understand that if the breakfast was served on arrival. However, bacon and sausage has obviously been sitting keeping warm for a while. Second day requested a lighter alternative. Overall the place was very clean and staff...
"Lovely hotel in a great location. Coffee, tea and biscuits on arrival which was lovely. The hotel and room was clean and very comfortable. Large lounge which was perfect if you want to play a couple of board games with the kids or just relax. Amazing breakfast with a good choice and the perfect host who was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

"The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, with comfy and well appointed rooms. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a fairly good choice. We had a meal in the hotel’s bistro which was really delicious and is thoroughly recommended. Overall, a really enjoyable and comfortable stay."
"Simply beautiful, staff could not do enough to help, check in was easy and quick. Stunning location and a small village a short stroll away. Room was clean and adequate with all tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is continental with other options available to purchase. We had a full Welsh breakfast and avocado on toast and it was amazing. All topped off with stunning views would definitely recommend and visit again."
