"Room above was very noisy. When we called they said they didn’t have any contractors on site bc it sounded like carpet was being installed. Also, the next night they were outside our room installing carpet. No coffee replaced in room. Had to go to the desk to get more."

We set the thermostat to 68, because the 70 it said it was on felt much much hotter. At 2:30am, we woke up sweating and tried turning it down to 65, but it was reading that the temperature was 71. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.
The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed.
The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. We enjoyed the brand new grill outside and also...
"The host was quickly responsive and very helpful. The sofa and its mattress were very lumpy and uncomfortable, but the kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. There was no salt, but we left some (and coffee) for the next guests."

The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. The room was quiet and comfortable.
