The shower was had no power. The curtaien round the bath was a small square one which stuck to you once wet. A larger person would not be able to use it. The toilet roll holder was missing off the wall and a piece of metal was left there. It is practically impossible to stop water exiting such a small space so toilet rolls on back of toilet...
"Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. Our room was on the third floor (no lift), but Andy grabbed two bags and helped us up. He was amazing on the desk and in the restaurant. Our meals were delicious. The provided breakfast was hot and made to order.
Pete runs a nice, older, family-run inn and we would definitely stay again."
"Very convenient location for our requirements. The bed was very comfortable and we had a fabulous sleep. The bar staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the whisky choice was amazing. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered and we weren’t sure how it would be, but it was excellent. Especially the Greek yoghurt and berries with honey. Portions were generous and we struggled to eat everything."

"Likes- large room and bed. Character property and easy parking. Good breakfast.
Dislikes- TV no aerial connection and not tuned into any channels/apps asking for wifi details.
No bedside lights just roof light and large wall light not near bed."
"Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant.
Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry".
I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting .
Waste of money, no refund offered"
"Room clean and comfortable,bathroom was shared and was not cleaned daily. Ran out of toilet roll on first night not staff around to ask for more. General upkeep of building was poor and needs updating. Looked like something from a horror movie on arrival and did think about leaving."
