"My overall rating would have been excellent. The location is superb and convenient for my purposes in London. However, I had a upgraded room that had the window open to the main road with high noise levels. It's not exactly the fault of the hotel but it made the night a little uncomfortable. "Location! It’s literally around the corner from Portobello Market and public transportation. I’m glad I got a hotel with air conditioning, as it was 90 that week in London. Lots of greats eateries near by. 10/10 would stay here on my next London trip."

Would have given higher rating except for the carpet. I have travelled all over the world and can without reservation say I have never seen such disgusting filthy carpet in my life, not even in much poorer countries. Why hotels insist on carpet is beyond me, they put more durable and easier to maintain floors elsewhere"
