"The property is beautiful. All the gardens are well kept and the ambiance of the neighborhood makes this Bed and Breakfast so welcoming. Dennis is an excellent host from explaining the history of our room to offering suggestions for meals. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding. I have stayed here multiple times and will continue to come back. "

The only input I could give was the mattress was a little too firm for my husband and it would be nice to have bedside lighting and nightstands on both sides of the king bed. "Garden Gate B&B is located near the actual Sturgeon Bay, which cuts across most of Door County from Green Bay . There is a shipyard directly across the street, but it isn't intrusive. Whistles at the start and end of the shift , that's about it. While the immediate area is unremarkable, the place is close to downtown in one direction and a lovely park on the bay in the other.
