"Outbound Mammoth is a unique property that we visited for our anniversary. You could have a simple hotel room, a cabin, or a condo. We especially loved the grounds, the food truck, the location, and, of course, the yoga classes.
There was a small issue with our cabin, which the staff, Leslie and Brett, came to the rescue to fix. We are excited about returning to this wonderful property when we visit Mammoth Lakes.

"I had a wonderful stay at Vagabond Inn Bishop! First and foremost, the staff members—from the front desk to housekeeping—were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
The location could not be better. It was very convenient to all the spots in Inyo National Forest I wanted to visit, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. Great local restaurants and a Tesla Supercharger are all close by.
The room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was impressive. The staff kept...
"Check-in was a breeze, and the front desk team gave us some great local restaurant recommendations. The parking garage was convenient and easy to navigate, and our room was nicely sized and mostly clean. There were also several fantastic dining options right on the property. However, our stay was held back by a couple of issues: the air conditioning unit felt quite outdated, and the bathroom had a noticeable, unpleasant odor."
"The biggest drawback for me was that there seemed to be an air freshener smell throughout the lobby area, hallways, and the elevator. It was quite strong.
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay."
"This is a delightful place to stay! It’s quaint, not luxurious, perfect for a road trip. Relax, soak up the view and vibes. You can tell that someone took time to make this a special spot to stay for the night. It was very clean. Yes, noisy, but it’s a roadside motel. Bring a portable noise machine.
I would love to stay here again"
"After my drive up from LA, I arrived around 7:40pm. A sign at front desk said: “I’ll be back soon, please be patient”. I was waiting over 30 minutes to the woman coming back and saying: “ I was helping another guest.” I assumed it was not true by the way she said it and the long time. She was also not very warm. Anyway, I went to room as I was tired from a 4 hour drive and didn’t feel like arguing. I stay at this hotel regularly.
The next morning, I was called and asked if I wanted to change...
"Friendly staff! The lobby and sitting area is beautiful. No restaurants in town except 2 Taco trucks so, have to travel to Lone Pine for restaurants. On the main highway so a little noisy. Hopefully they will finish the back yard for sitting outside and away from noise of the main highway. Try for an inside room and upstairs. Great history and old world charm. Shower works great and great bath products. Rooms simple and average size. Nice Continental breakfast."
"The “continental breakfast” it’s individual cereals, honey buns looking bread, nutrigrain bars, organic milk, and chocolate milk. My husband and I stayed in room 9 and it was pretty big with two beds. We loved our stay! And the location was perfect from a couple of restaurants and pizza joints, liquor stores, bike rental locations, ice cream, and little markets! I did enjoy the contactless check in makes it easy. Although, I do think they need to make some renovations. Also, the walls are thin...
"It was such an amazing location, clean and close to everything. However , make sure you check your email even spam at least 72 hours before check in , it will make your check in 100 times smoother . Overall, I would recommend 10/10. We will definitely be returning."
"A Throop was not clean. Hair in too many places. There was no air conditioning in the height of summer - which wasn’t outlined until check in. No hot water anywhere."
