"a hidden camera was install to smoke alarm. it will flash in the night. the flash will be exactly like camera flash. we did report it. they send staff to check, but no luck. we have to cover the smoke alarm in the night time to avoid any more flashes. the camera will flash with movements in the room. i got pictures of how we cover the smoke alarm device in the night to avoid flashes."
"Stayed on the third floor, small room, plenty of space, the room was clean with no damage, shower worked great. There was a fan in there which is helpful in the summer, didn’t have any noise complaints to make.
Only stayed for one night so can’t come in on much else, the room key can be used for the front door when reception is closed after 10 pm and be aware that the keys go in the door horizontal rather than vertical and they also turn anticlockwise which takes some getting used to....
"Camelot castle is a perfect location for Tintagel . A short walk into the village which although busy is lovely. The views from the hotel are breathtaking with a costal path direct to the small beach( check tidal times before you go) There is a lovely bar where we purchased drinks and sat outside and watches the sunset. The hotel decor is amazing and have a comfortable lounge to sit on. Our room was plenty big enough with sea view, bathroom had a bath and separate shower too and was spotless....
"The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent.
Location was ideal, near to all the attractions. We found the local pub next door’s very friendly."

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. If you're on vacation here,...

"We chose to stay at the Brunel Inn whilst attending a festival nearby. It was the perfect choice! The staff were fantastic and the owners were so lovely! Would definitely stay here again, way better than camping"
"The ship is unique because of its position in mevagissey. The room was not spacious but adequate for our needs.
In the bathroom was a fairly new shower which was great apart from there was no place to put your soap or shampoo.
The breakfast was cooked to order and like the evening meals were excellent.
The pub has been taken over by a lovely couple called Alex and Noah and along with their attentive staff I believe they will make it a great success"
"We spent 2 night here while sight seeing around Cornwall. We found it quite central to the places we visited. The warm and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing and going back to a good meal completed our day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
I loved the garden.
