"A good hotel if a little bit old fashioned. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were polite. Breakfast was good. Good location. Free car parking. Value for money."

"The hotel was good but the surrounding area is very run down with lots of begging in the streets. The facade of the hotel is not as depicted. The palms shown in the advertising are no longer there. Parking was in a local council car park which was understood, but parking was dearer than advised.. No street parking available other than metered. Torquay very run down and grubby."
