"Location is great but the property is very tired and needs some serious TLC to bring it up to scratch. Carpets are threadbare and front door needs a good shove to open and close. The entire place desperately needs painting and general maintenance. "

It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog. "I have been to many beautiful towns in Qld, NSW, Vic, SA and currently on the road trip in WA. Middleton beach was supposed to be a transition stop only, but it became best part of the WA trip so far. It's so calm, peaceful and first time made me feel like I want to live in regional area permanently. I am sure this property contributes 80% of this wonderful experiences.
