"This hotel is gorgeous! The photos don't do it justice. Everything faces the sea, the rooms, the dining room, the pool and of course the beach. We loved the beach with the chairs and umbrellas overlooking the Aeolian Islands. The beach has fist sized rocks that have been made smooth from the waves. They make a sweet crackling noise as the waves recede. I've never experienced that before. The owner went out of his way to find a relative in Caronia for my traveling partner.
