"It was an amazing experience. Only complaint I have would be that the hot tub was pretty cloudy looking, but everything else was incredibly."

"Just loved our short stay. We were able to enjoy outside dining near the golf area and in the evening had a drink in the circle bar area and everybody was very friendly and helpful. All drinks and food were lovely. The bellhop gentleman went out of their way to help me when I discovered I left my fair ticket in our luggage and they held it for us until I could retrieve it. Much much thanks."

"It is a nice place to stay: clean, good service, restaurants, good buffet breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. The only set back: We arrived in late May and had to deal with midgets - they swarmed the place and were everywhere, landing on our car, on our bodies... As a result, we could not take a walk on lake shores, only looking at the shore from our rooms. The hotel should have had sprayed it instead just informing us of there existence.!!!!"

"Stopped in to stay the night before heading to Mackinac Island. Excellent room, comfy beds, and an even better view than expected. The restaurant right next door is a plus as well. "

"The staff was friendly and helpful. I think the website description needs to emphasize that upstairs rooms are walkup with no elevators. Also the bedroom needs blackout curtains like the living room. To much light gets thru day and night. Night has the outside lights showing all night, daylight comes thru the blinds and with early light, it wakes you up. "

"The outdoors gets lots of attention. Owners need to evaluate the condition of furniture. Chairs with stains and falling apart need re-covered or replaced. Other than that it was a good stay. Maybe let guests know that check in means you prefer them to check in no later than a particular time. We received a call that at 6pm, we were way past our check in time. "

"Location is great,. Did not like basic room but upgraded to great corner room with views. We were not told at check in that breakfast only served until 10 AM and we missed by 2 minutes, but staff would not serve us. Everything else fantastic."
