"Location wise this will not be for everyone as it is a little secluded, but for those whom are looking for a base to use that isn't Town / City centre it is ideal, beautiful setting with friendly and welcoming staff; this was my second stay in as many months and although not my usual choice of hotel (usually boutique / luxury hotels) I found myself submerged in the "quiet charm" of the hotel and staff; I would also add that the beds (mattress topper / linen) is worth of any 5* hotel that I have...

"The room was great, lovely quiet location and staff were very helpful. Having the suite was a real treat although a shelf or platform by the freestanding bath and extra toiletries would have been nice. The property is ideal for an exclusive break but looking a bit tired in places, they could make much more of the gardens, which looked rather unkept, but perhaps the time of year was a factor.
