"Grand old building , room clean and tidy , excellent night’s sleep . Breakfast good loved the timed sit down . Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going ."

"Nice distances from places of interest and food. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the kitchen was out of action, but the staff were accommodating in this issue. I we really enjoyed are stay. "

"Really lovely and cosy hotel in the heart of the town. They thought of everything - even the welcome book that had a history of the building and the local area. It was engaging and fun to take time to read. The facilities were excellent and the breakfast served was tasty and set us up for the day. I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone."
