"The hotel is in a really good location, central to a lot of things to do and resturants. The hotel is definitely old. The beds and shower were clean. The floors had debris from previous stays. The paint on the wall is peeling and the ceiling is coming off as well. There isn’t any cleaning people that come to tidy up during your stay and if you need any additional towel, toilet paper or anything you need to go to the desk yourself. "This was a stay mainly to see the area not to use the facilities but the gym looked good . I wanted to use the pool one evening but it was closed at 6 when i went so beware of that . Food was great and good value . Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Excellent room for wheelchair users which my wife is . Brilliant wet room and excellent all round . Parking good also ."

"We really liked the lodge as it felt much more private than the hotel but with all the amenities available. Gym small but with all equipment working. Pool clean and a pretty good size. Food excellent. All staff friendly and helpful."

"Rooms are nice and big. The carpets are heavily stained and dirty. Staff were okay, nothing bad but nothing wow. Bar staff was nice. Restaurant looked lush. Location is perfect. Breakfast was very expensive so went out for it."
