"We stayed in Villa C and it was fantastic. Very spacious rooms and a fantastic semi outdoor private onsen bath and shower. Lots of amenities provided to take as needed. We didn’t see any people at all at the property. The beds were big and soft. You do hear a lot of trains, however we used the supplied ear plugs and slept fine. Paid parking on the property. The property is up a very narrow and steep road, we had a car, but you should consider a taxi if arriving by train. Self check in, we saw...

"This was our first time staying at an Onsen, and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly, and I must say the Breakfast was great. The Onsen was fantastic, it is certainly different than being in a “jacuzzi” or “hot tub”. As for the sleeping, surprisingly comfortable, it is no wonder Tatami Mats have been used even to this day. If you’re a curious first timer I definitely would recommend staying here. The staff going above and beyond for guests is more than enough a reason to stay here."

"This was hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was super stylish and clean with a massive shower. The onsen was such a highlight. I would recommend anyone staying in Hakone to stay here. We will be definitely be coming back."

"Staff were very friendly! Not sure if I missed it in the description, but the bathrooms are shared and in order to shower you need to book the onsen. By the time we got there all the times that worked for us were booked. The onsen was just a tiny little hot tub essentially in a depressing room-not really what I was hoping for. The soup served for breakfast was great! Overall, I wouldn’t stay again as I don’t like hostels, but if you do then this is an okay find."

"Perfect place for an overnight stay. The onsen was great and the scenery was serene with the sound of the river and pristine forest view. Be prepared to eat dinner early as most restaurants close at 7pm and are very busy with tourists so make a reservation ahead of time if possible. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel making it so convenient. Google Maps will show walking paths as the shortest route but I would recommend taking a longer route on a bus or taxi because the walking paths...
