"The bed was great. Stayed 2 nights, a bit pricey, wanted a good night stay. Upon entry there was trash left in room and in the refrigerator, liquid was spilled down the side of the room's coffee cabinet, house keeping didn't change out the towels when they cleaned the room, broken bathroom sink was poorly repaired and caulked as well as the floor tiles were cracked (how does that even happen). Indoor pool was extremely cold and the small hot tub was too hot. No kleenex in the room. The building...
"Overall, we had a great stay at the Hampton Inn in Salida. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. My only complaint would be the pillows, but that seems to be an issue with Hampton properties in general rather than something specific to this location.
The breakfast was also what I’ve come to expect from Hampton: solid, convenient, and a nice way to start the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."
"The room was clean and so fun with its retro look. The playground spot, grill and outdoor lounge area was a great touch. Bed and linens were terrific. The breakfast was only pre-packaged muffins and other similar prepackaged bars snacks along with coffee and available 8am-9am so you were out of luck if you needed to leave early. Overall a fun experience."
"The advertising photo of the nice cabin is not the cabin we got and booking was misleading. No AC, no water, no bathroom, just the cabin and two outlets. The advertising is misleading as there was no coffee. The coffee house pictured is not open. The people were very nice, it was quiet and it looks like they are really trying to do some nice improvements. The shared shower house and bathrooms are very nice, just a long walk in the middle of the night. It was very nice for having our dog along...
