"Our time at Bistol was very short, only 7 hours, but we were happy with the stay. Due to a flight delay, we didnt arive until after midnight, but i was able to contact them to mame arrangements, and we were me when our taxi pulled up. The room was very large, the shower was good, the beds comfortable. We had a tico breakfast made to order, and it was very good, and the staff very helpful. I would come again if ever I need a hotel close to the SJO airport."

"Pool was gorgeous and the breakfast was outstanding very delicious. The villa itself was quite rustic that allows insects to come in as there are gaps in the wooden structure. The owner was delightful and very attentive to our questions."

"Beautifully maintained property with humming birds and other types of birds right outside. Very quiet, spacious and private. Our family of four fit very comfortably in the two separate bedrooms. The jacuzzi was prefect after our zip lining adventure nearby. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"I was only here one night, in a private room. It was about as basic as it gets. The bed was okay but I could feel the individual springs. The included breakfast was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff were all very polite and professional, but the property itself was very much the stereotypical hostel, passable but not memorable."

"Got the room option with private bathroom very basic but good for what we needed. Felt safe and it was super convenient to everything. Hostel vibes with friendly staff and a restaurant right next door. If you want a place to rest your head between adventures this is it. "

"The good things are that it is in the heart of an area thats good for shopping (and some bars & restaurants) plus it is clean so quite good for a short stay. The downside of being downtown is that some traffic can be little noisy but i would definitely stay there again. "

"Emplacement parfait, près de l'aéroport, donc très pratique pour une nuit avant un vol. Shuttle gratuit pour nous amener à l'aéroport. Restaurant au 4e étage, donc pas besoin de sortir pour manger quelque chose. Présence d'une ascenseur pour monter et descendre d'un étage à l'autre. Draps et chambre propres. Pas de savon ni de papier à main dans la salle de bain et les divans dans le hall d'entrée de l'hostel et les fauteuils dans le corridor sont très vieux (je doute de leur propreté)"
