"Stunning hotel that I believe was a hospital. It has gated parking. Parking in Portugal is hard to find. There is an indoor pool and two outdoor pools, one of which is shallow and has slides for children. Our dinner at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. I also enjoyed a spa treatment that was wonderful and relaxing. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to most of the attractions and historical buildings as well as numerous shops, bakeries and restaurants. I wonderful...

"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"The property is very interesting and unique because it is a 300-year-old house with very thick stone walls. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful with roses and other flowers in bloom. The view of the valley with all the vineyards is spectacular! Fernanda is so warm and welcoming; she served us delicious breakfast and dinner with fresh fruit and nuts grown right on the property – oranges, kiwis, cherries, walnuts at breakfast (along with bread, jams, eggs, ham, cheese)and vegetables...
