"I think the biggest issues were the deferred maintenance. Stained carpet, dirty light switches, base falling off the wall in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper, overall dingy. I’m surprised that Wyndham is willing to back this hotel. Staff was doing the best they could."
"The room was very small and clean. The bed was acceptable but the pillows could be used as basketballs - I’m sure they would bounce! Don’t even bother making coffee. The entire hotel, especially outside, is woefully outdated. It makes for a terrible first impression. It is quiet and we parked just outside the door to our room."
"The hotel is not super modern but it is squeaky clean and the staff is available and very friendly. Our room had a king bed with a water view. The bathroom and room itself were spotless and clean when we arrived. Nice fresh sheets and towels. The mini fridge kept our stuff ice cold. The air conditioner worked great. TV worked great too. Our issue that prevented us from leaving a 5 star review is the no pet policy and people who abuse it. The man who checked in right after us and into the room...
"The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"
"Best part was the recommendation to eat at the great place across the street. Didn't really care for no one being there ( customer service) Spendy for the small room. Great remodel...cute place but tiny for two people. We went to the bar ( 20 min before they opened) Instead of offering to serve us a drink they recommend we go to a bar down the street!? I was kinda puzzled by that"
"It was a well used ski lodge that was too challenging for us. I should have checked accessibility but had 5-6 steps at the entrance followed by 2 stairways to get to our room. I gave the room a quick check & concluded the overall appearance, wear & tear wasn’t consistent with the $200/night charge, regardless of all the steps. The attendant was helpful, but no other rooms were available. Neither was a refund as we were outside that window. We did find a local room that was accessible, well kept...
"Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub (hot tub looked brand new!). Overall, the facility is dated and could benefit from a makeover. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which is normally not a problem in New Hampshire, but our weather was warm and humid at night."
