"Tucked behind the facade of shops on the promenade is a lovely hotel. We were welcomed by Greg who spoke excellent English. The room rate was very reasonable and included breakfast. Our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. The beds are very firm. Plenty of places to eat along the promenade although we chose to eat at the hotel. "Great basic hotel close to the airport. We stayed here for 1 night as we did last year also when our flight home was cancelled. It’s located right in the heart of Gouvia so perfect to explore the beach and marina. The rooms are very very basic, no tea/coffee facilities but you do have a fridge. The A/C is an extra €6 per day and a 3rd bed in the room is an extra €30. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would defo absolutely return due to its location. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at El Greco, all of the staff were very nice and helpful. The room had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. For breakfast they accommodated my gluten free dietary requirements which was great. The staff even helped us out when our car battery died! Would highly recommend."

The garden & views are lovely, the family who run the studios & supermarket are very friendly & helpful, & the studios are in a quiet area of Paleo, just as you arrive in the town. We really enjoyed the pool at the neighbouring property & it was very handy to have the supermarket attached to the studios. There are many returning guests - & we now hope to join that group! "J'ai eu le numéro d'écrou 118 et le directeur pénitentiaire a fait autant de discours à mon entrée qu'à ma sortie. Il n'a pas décroché autre chose qu'un grognement! sans rire l'accueil était très froid pas une parole de la part du directeur heureusement secondé par une hôtesse un peu plus coopérative. Mauvaise nouvelle : 5 euros de climatisation par jour qu'on nous réclame avec les dents serrées. Les serviettes ne sont changées que deux fois par semaine mais il est fait mention sur les panneaux...

"Great location next to all the restaurants and bars as well as nightlife. It’s a wonderful family owned place with a great bar and fantastic indoor and outdoor patio. They always remember you by name everytime you walk in. Great reviews and will be back. Only con, it’s a bit far from the airport because Kavos is a happening area at the end of the island. I would take a bus from the airport there because taxis are outrageous. Good thing is, everything is great on Kavos. Rent a car if you can. You...
