"Our stay at the Roxbury Motel was great. Our room was clean, and the decor unique. The whole place had great character and the front desk people were friendly. My only concern was that when I booked our room, it didn't say it was at the motel, which is a separate, but nearby, location from the Roxbury at Stratton Falls. Our friend were staying there and we didn't realize until we arrived that our place was down the road a couple of miles. Other than that, it was a great stay."

"A no-frills hotel which is absolutely wonderful. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything was clean which is very important. Upgrades will be done per the front desk. Breakfast is no longer being served but there are plenty of places in neighboring towns for food. There is plenty of parking, vending machines for snacks and amazing sunset views."

"I stayed in the main house, 2nd floor, Queen Deluxe Room included micro, refrig, keurig and had an a/c unit. Very quiet, quaint, old-world charm. It was close to my family that still lives in G.G. and was convenient for what I needed. Would recommend for anyone that needs to compress from the hustle and bustle of life."

Very convenient to which ever park you’re attending too if you’re going to Dream Park and or All-Star Village for Cooperstown baseball activities. Very quiet, easy access to the main road, and gas station conveniently situated on site. There is a convence store on site if there is a need for last minutes necessaries. "First time to Hobart/Stamford area. Beautiful unspoiled sparsely populated area. Clean comfortable Chalet style home with gorgeous view. A few nice restaurants nearby and the bookstores in Hobart. Hope this area never changes will be back."
