"I was only here one night, in a private room. It was about as basic as it gets. The bed was okay but I could feel the individual springs. The included breakfast was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff were all very polite and professional, but the property itself was very much the stereotypical hostel, passable but not memorable."

Restaurant au 4e étage, donc pas besoin de sortir pour manger quelque chose. Présence d'une ascenseur pour monter et descendre d'un étage à l'autre. Draps et chambre propres. Pas de savon ni de papier à main dans la salle de bain et les divans dans le hall d'entrée de l'hostel et les fauteuils dans le corridor sont très vieux (je doute de leur propreté)"

"We loved Xilopalo! It was authentic to the area and felt like a private resort but was close and walkable to town. We enjoyed the pool. The highlight was that breakfast was delicious and had an excellent view of the Arenal volcano. Our suite was spacious. Staff was helpful. "
