"Beautiful location, quaint room. The staff was friendly, thorough and attentive. We had to change our arrival and departure days twice - they accommodated us with a great service attitude!"

"Enjoyed our short trip to the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area. Location was perfect and only 10 minutes from parks/trails. Property was very clean with many thoughtful guest amenities to make the stay comfortable and convenient. We really appreciated the many different spaces to relax and enjoy the mountain vibe. Communication was also excellent. One note is to try not to be startled by the falling acorns on the roof from the two large oak trees next to the home. Would definitely recommend this...

"The owner's of PaPa's Haus have meticulously, renovated and comfortably appointed, (upscale lake/bear theme), not just the house, but also the extensive porches and decking around the main house and the two boat houses on water's edge. We have been staying at a tiny cottage next door to this home for 25 years, and it was easy to vacation in such a small place when the children were little, but now they are all grown with significant others.
