"It is what you are paying a cheap price for- no frills and a place to sleep. The rooms are essentially college dorm rooms, small and sterile. They were clean and the front desk staff was helpful with some suggestions about local spots to get food and a good drink. The area that the hotel is in is a little depressed, but we felt safe walking the area to get to other parts of Glasgow. Lots of covered parking available."
"We booked this hotel for an overnight prior to a flight, and it was a mistake. The building has very little if any soundproofing and every noise from surrounding rooms adjacent and above could be heard, down to individual footsteps. It is also a pub which meant that many guests were drinking on site, late to their rooms in the evening and noisy in the corridors. If you want a good nights sleep, this is not the place to stay"

"The Hazlitt was a good stop for us. While it was a fair way out of Glasgow city itself, it was easy to get in and out of the city by public transport.
The room itself was clean and well appointed and comfortable, despite not having air conditioning. The windows opened to let in a breeze, but there was a fair bit of street noise, especially as we stayed over a weekend. Check in was easy, and there were plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops nearby."

"We booked a room with a private bathroom, the room was clean and had all the basic morning needs; kettle, tea, instant coffee and sugar. The bathroom was recently updated, it was well done and served us well. We got there on a Saturday and were informed about their live band playing in the bar that night, our room was at the back so we were not disturbed by it.

"On first arriving was a bit disappointed with initial outlook but this was a wee surprise. Staff on checking in were very nice gave us directions to free parking at back of the hotel. Room was very clean and tidy bathroom was clean but for safety could do with a handle to get in and out of the shower maybe a nonslip mat in the bath and a bath mat to step out. The bar was well stocked and fairly reasonable priced, entertainment on Saturday was great amazing singer. Food at breakfast was good but...
