"Very strange room quite large with a very small double bed not as wide or long as a standard double
Room was in the basement and you would not want to spend anytime in there other than to sleep.
Staff helpful and we could check in early and location was good as you could walk to everywhere in Halifax.
Ok if you just need a bed for the night as we did but not if you wanted to spend a weekend away and the hotel was part of the experience"
"We had everything we needed to make our stay a really good one. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was catered for kitchen wise. Hob, microwave, toaster, kettle all in excellent order. The staff were lovely. Kirsty and Leah in particular could not have been more helpful. Thank you to Deuce for making our stay a great one."
"We were surprised on arrival to be given an apartment as we had only booked a double room. As we were there for a few nights it was good to have the extra space and kitchen facilities. Everything was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We understand that this is a new venture and there were one or two things that hadn't quite been finished off but overall it was a good stay. We ate in the pub on one night and the food was excellent. Maybe one or two more options for gluten free....

"Value for money hotel. Fixtures and fittings are tired but the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Great value cooked breakfast for £7. Road a bit noisy. We were able to leave our car behind the building for the day which was great. If stairs are an issue/heavy luggage pays to be aware you might have a few flights of steps to climb depending on your room! Staff very helpful and friendly."
"Such a let down! Pictures nothing like the room itself. When we eventually found the house, the outside looked like a tip! Food waste by the door, grass overgrown and very smelly. When we opened up the apartment, we thought we were in the wrong place. Nothing like the advert. Whipped cream in the cupboard, washing in the washing machine and the view out the back window was dreadful. Overall, nothing like the advert and needed lots of work. We refused to stay, luckily, the owners allowed...
