We ended up having to walk down to the Starbucks to use their WiFi and get on chat with Expedia. They said the booking didn’t register so they weren’t notified of it despite the fact that we paid. Supposedly we were upgraded but the room we were in looked exactly like what we had booked. The place was fine but...

"I searched this on Trivago with a filter to include breakfast. When I arrived there was clearly no breakfast. Too expensive for “room only” when I thought the extra was for the addition of breakfast. There were tables to accommodate breakfast but no staff at all 🙈 Why show a dining room if there’s no food provided?"

"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again."

"Booked a double room for two people "a studio" in student accommodation. Had expectations that this was not a hotel and did not expect hotel level services. Room was rudimentary but adequate (still have the feeling of the springs from the discount mattress!) At check in, the staff said the booking was still "under review" and they couldn't check us in. Having expedia resend the confirmation email and showing them that, suddenly unlocked the check in. We were issued one key and discovered one...

"Room was clean bed very comfortable had a good sleep except sometimes the bedroom door rattled (room 2), needs door stop moved an inch so door doesn't rattle when someone else on the building opens or closes theirs "

"Great room with space to spare. Power shower hot water was good. Bed comfy. Wish there was also a sheet, not just a duvet/doonah. Too hot in summer for a duvet! Do-able walk from city centre, or bus public transport. Quiet street. Good breakfast, worth the £10."
