"Upon arrival no staff was to be seen, but was polite and showed us to our rooms. A few hazards on entry grates raised up on tile flooring at entry ( trip hazard) lift doesnt work. We was there two nights no fresh towels or bedding. Had to buy our own toilet roll. Cleaness needs a good clean over, walls had stains, carpets need a good clean. Overall was warm, comfy. Its a hotel that would have alot of potential or would benefit a good make over. Pictures arent a true image of the hotel people are...

"Room 7 decent size...very comfy bed, moderate shower. Good tea and coffee making facilities....excellent breakfast. Property in need of a refurbishment.....old windows that i think in winter will let in a lot of cold air. All staff i met were friendly and helpful. Probably would stay again at the price level."

"We booked Thoresby Guest House as it was within 20 mins walking distance of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We were given a warm welcome by Deania, manager of the Thoresby and shown our room. It was perfect for our needs. We had a view of the North Bay and a really comfy bed. Deania showed us a couple of other rooms in the morning as we checked out. There are room options for all party sizes. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely book again. "

"Great location hotel is clean and tidy with a bar and entertainment, I did leave my wash bag with a new bottle of perfume in it I rang hotel to see if they had got it but was told they had not found it !! That was a costly mistake! "

"Brilliant the pods are nice and warm and very spacious the peacocks are really tame and eat food out of your hands also the camp site is very close th Bridlington around 5 minute drive also Flamborough head about 25 minute drive and Filey around 45 minute drive and also you have the Bridlington wildlife park right on your doorstep would defiantly stay here again "
