"We were never able to check-in despite messaging the hotel. There was no follow-up apart from an automatically generated email welcoming us to the hotel. Management was unaware we did not check in. We were obligated to find alternative lodgings. To date the hotel has still not responded to my message."

"The place to use as your base whilst in this beautiful City. Close to everything, The Old Town,Royal Mile ,Castle,then across Waverley Bridge to Princes Street .Absolute must if your on a budget,and are planning to be our every day. 4 bed dorm,clean ,shower,toilet facilities. Mixed info was also given, friendly guy staff mentioned can use toaster for own bread brought from supermarket but next morning an Indian girl staff said no, unless pay for breakfast service. "Handy location. About 30 min walk from old town . Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Rooms have small double bed and shared kitchen. I forgot to bring a USB plug and there was a handy shop on the main road."

"Location was great - to our surprise the concierge won’t let us stay at least on the waiting room for the 10 minutes the room needed to be ready. Never happened anywhere else in the world (he didn’t look very welcoming - kept showing us the sign that the check-in is at 3 PM - I would have been embarrassed to say that to people that have travelled from another continent for 7.5 hours to get there).
