"We had a gorgeous view from the three bedroom roundhouse room called Top of the Pines. Spectacular view from the private deck! The bathroom and kitchen had been nicely updated from the pictures on the website. The beds are super comfortableThe grounds are beautiful and all of the staff is so friendly and helpful. We had some rain which kept us inside for a day. The one negative would be that the living area furniture is badly worn and quite uncomfortable. We ended up bringing in one of the patio chairs to sit on. Also, the television signal was off more than it was on even when it wasn’t raining. But other than that, just a wonderful place to visit!!😊"

"The Howard Johnson nice and clean and it's only a one-block walk to downtown. The rooms and lobby have recently been remodeled and most of them are away from street noise. The bathroom is spacious with great lighting but the room lighting in general is a bit too indirect and subdued. Oh, the lack of a lounge chair forced me to watch TV from the desk chair and it just wasn't comfy enough for that. But the overall quality is high and that's what matters most."
