Beatenberg Resort & Spa in Beatenberg Interlaken

"We stayed at the resort for our 25th anniversary and we were well taken care of by the staff-everyone from the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff and front end staff. They were very kind and insured we enjoyed our stay. The views from the deck facing the vallley and lakes were surreal. They were some of the best pictures of our trip. The buffet breakfast was a nice add-on since there’s not a lot of food dining options in the Beatenberg area. It is a 15 minute drive from Interlaken, but we enjoyed the calmness of the area. The amenities, such as the gym and spa was a nice touch to the stay. I would highly recommend this resort at this price point."

"This place was amazing! We would have stayed longer had we know what a gem this place was! Serge' the owner was a kind helpful host, he worked very hard and was hospitable and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful, the scenery amazing, and it was so quiet and off the beaten path. Bus stop was within steps of the hotel driveway. About 15 minutes to Spiez train station and about 30 minutes by bus to Interlakaen Oust Train station."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Seaside in Spiez. The room was comfortable and good for us. There was no air-conditioning, but we were able to open the door and windows for fresh air. We arrived before check-in time, and the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage while we explored Spiez. The receptionist was helpful and explained how to get to the pier and told us about the beautiful walking path along the lake behind the property. We really enjoyed walking there. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful, with Lake Thun, mountains, flowers, and lovely houses. Transportation was also very convenient. We could travel between Spiez and Thun by boat or train, and there is bus transportation between the train station and the hotel. Breakfast was good, and we especially enjoyed eating with the beautiful lake view from the dining area. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the peaceful location and beautiful scenery."

"Lovely Stay on the lake front with private dock for swimming and lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. Great views from the balcony. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. There are a number of free parking spots right in front of the hotel first come first served. Tip: arrive early to get one. Bus #21 runs up and down the lake from Thun to Interlaken with a stop 100ft away. Bus fare is free to guests staying in hotels in the area. Beautiful time in Thun."
