"This property is at a convenient location. Distance to shopping and dining areas are walkable and the environment is beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed a stroll in the morning. Owner was kind and offered to help us move the luggage. The room is spacious and classy. Bathroom is clean and modern. We love it."

"Very nice stay on the boat. Terrace is very convinient if you want to stay in the sun. Very calm even though there is a bridge but the noice is not very hard. Nice small room with everything you need. One inconvenient: the soap was not refilled there was no soap but we used the shower gel that was refilled."

"It seems petty to mention the stairs when everything else was so good but they are an interesting challenge for the not so young. However Ann Marie and Henk cheerfully helped with my luggage which was much appreciated."

"This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler....

"Host was wonderful and helpful with tip to get around. The little pub down the street was friendly and the food great at a very good price. It was easy to get into Central Amsterdam, however you probably only want to do it once a day. We found that after a day in the Central City we were too tired to return at dinner time. "The apartment is lovely and had most everything we needed for our 9 day stay, including a sweet little outdoor area along the front sidewalk. Richard is just upstairs and was responsive to our requests. He is willing to recommend activities and to drive guests with luggage. He picked me up from my river cruise dock when I arrived and dropped me off at the train station on the day I left. His fee for driving is very reasonable. "A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"Beautiful 2 br and 2 bath apartment, perfect for us and 2 teens. Host was very helpful with directors, advice, and luggage. 3 min walk to the tram so easy to get to attractions. Nespresso coffee, juice, and fruit in apartment. Near Vondelpark which is beautiful. Highly recommend"

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"The location for this property is great! The place was very clean and communication with the owner/manager (who stays downstairs) was excellent. It’s Amsterdam, so everything is narrow and vertical! The staircase is very steep and getting a large suitcase up there was entertaining. Everything is walkable from the location. We highly recommend taking a bike tour through the countryside to get out of the city for an afternoon. Would definitely stay her again. Highly recommend this property."
