Very friendly staff / owners. Great hot tub and spa area. Very good breakfast. Appreciated that they spoke very fluent English and always there to help when needed. Nice rooms and great breakfast. Definitely going to make this a place to stop at next time we are in the area.

This is a family owned and run hotel. They take pride in their work, and it shows. The train station is a convenient 10 to 15 minute walk and the center of Munich can be reached in another 15 to 20 minute train ride. The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Because it is family-owned, there are multiple generations working. We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Spacious, clean room — perfectly located when attending a conference at Messe München. The nearby shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants is very convenient, and there’s also a nice park close by. It’s only about 25 minutes by U-Bahn to the city center.

I stayed here for 12 days and had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was great. Whenever I had an issue, it was handled very quickly. The room was comfortable and the hotel was overall clean and pleasant. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.

While I do quite a bit of business travel, this stay was during the vacation, when I visited my son at TUM in Garching. My schedule was pretty loose, but at any time of day and night I've seen plenty of jetlagged travelers, catching up on work at the very comfortable lounge or enjoying a drink or two at the bar. Everything you need was right there: 24x7 shop with snacks and drinks, laundry, gym and meeting rooms, excellent coffee in the morning and refreshing weissbier at the end of the day,...

In a great location close to public transportation as well as lots of places to fine all kinds of different food.

Great Hotel! Amazing staff as they responded to all request quickly. They even help me find a nail salon close by. VIP room upgrade was amazing! Very clean hotel, amazing gym considering the area. Very quiet, close by all shopping and dining in Marienplatz.

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.
