Tyne Cot Cemetery is the largest Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in the world. It is now the resting place of more than 11,900 servicemen of the British Empire from the First World War. A lot of ANZACs are laid to rest here. I was here in Belgium with my wife's family last year to commemorate my wife's Great Grand Father who was killed in the Third Battle of Passchendaele. It was a very emotional experience.

"The house was properly equiped. Kitchen, beds were okay, the garden has a lot of seats, we enjoyed to sit there. The host was very friendly. Our aim was to visit Lille-centre a couple of times; it takes only a short time to go there. Overall a good place to stay."

"The house is in a lovely rural location but near to a village for food shopping. It was also in a perfect location for the WW1 Memorials & Cemeteries that we visited, Ypres, Hooge, Tyne Cot etc. The house was immaculately clean on our arrival, very nicely furnished and well equipped. "We were a large family group renting the property for a week for a reunion. Beautiful, high-design property - tip top shape. Everyone enjoyed the pool, sauna and playground. Adults stayed in the main house and teenagers/young adults in the pool house. Lots of different spaces to gather and also escape for some quiet time. Some wonderful restaurants nearby."

De bedden zijn goed en de banken zitten heerlijk en de douches zijn prima. "Really nice detached cottage. Very clean and roomy for the three of us - there was a third childrens bedroom so a larger family would not feel cramped for space. Although it’s in a quiet location it’s well situated for Eurostar trains in Lille and near good road connections. Ideal if visiting the First World War Somme battlefield sites."

"We arrived to find a couple already in residence having arrived that morning. Gentlemen at the property called the owner who refused to speak to me directly, give his name or email address. Throughout booking, host did not reply to initial booking 3 times including pre trip departure and only by automated text 2 days pre arrival.
