"We loved this place. It's in a big old farmhouse and doesn't look like much from the front, but it is a hidden gem. Mike runs the hotel so well & is really helpful; they should change the name to Mike's Place. It's really clean, comfortable & has everything you need. There's a big kitchen with almost every appliance you could want. It's really quirky and cool. 30min from Bern. Schönbrunnen is just up the road for groceries, cash etc There's isn't a lift as the house is heritage listed, so keep...

"Very nice, conveniently placed hotel in the center of the village. Newly refurbished and very clean room. Nice staff and good restaurants in the neighborhood. Perfect for trekking in the region. "

"Hotel owners were very courtious and breakfast served was excellent. But for my family who is not used to animals in the house, the dog and cat smell(which they have as pets as it is their home based b&b) was a bit irritating and my son and wife had sneezing due to it. So if you are allergic, be warned. Otherwise it is a very nice place with pleasing owners."

"very nice hotel, beautiful view on the Alps, very reasonable. The restaurant is closed on wednesday, so it is wise to call ahead to make sure the door is open for you in case you arrive at odd hours. We have to share bath room and shower, but it is very clean."

"Our family (2 adults and 4 kids - ages 11-15) stayed 4 days in the apartment. Barbara was very responsive with check-in details and answering questions. The apartment is on the middle floor of a 3 story building (total of 6 apartments), among many other similar buildings in the quiet Bern suburb of Zollikofen. Walking distance to the train station and shops. We had a car, which we parked on-street. The bedrooms are each of good size, and there is seating for 6 at the kitchen table - plus a table...
