"I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "

"Great value property. 15 minute boat transfer. Half board was good. Pastry chef was amazing and Shameen, our waiter, was excellent."

"From the first moments of welcome all the way to our last boat ride back - everything was truly spectacular. This was our third time in the Maldives and definitely the best. The quality of service is quite unparalleled- every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful and competent. We felt right at home. The hotel was a perfect combination of family friendly without it feeling too much of a family resort. Our beach villa was spectacular - spacious, great facilities, and with thoughtful housekeeping service. We were also very happy with the morning and evening buffet and overall the quality of food and drink was excellent. The hotel’s water policy was also very guest friendly and it was so relaxing not having to worry about having to constantly purchase water bottles. We also greatly appreciate that we were able to both check-in early and check-out late - that is the type of service and guest friendliness that really makes Coco Bodu Hithi stand out for us. Lastly, a big thank you also to the kids club staff and facilities. I would definitely recommend advertising the kids club more prominently on the website or on other booking platforms as that can be a motivating factor for other families. All in all we had truly a wonderful stay. We would be happy to come back to Coco Bodu Hithi again soon. "

"The food at Baros is top notch. Breakfast was fantastic every day that I was there. I stayed in an overwater villa with great views. Snorkeling at the house reef gave way to views of wonderful underwater life. When I come back to Maldives, I will book this place without hesitation. As for the expedia option of pre-paying for dinner, don't. Just go a la cart and not feel obligated to eat at the same restaurant. It's priced such that you are getting the maximum priced items on the menu each night and only includes one of the three restaurants. The food is great at that restaurant though, so no complaints there. I would have preferred more flexibility in how I used those funds."

"Great property. Clean , well maintained and contained/ easily walkable on small island. Spa was good. Occasional misses on food orders at restaurants (forgot to bring out one order for our party of 8 a few times but we were there at year end and resort was at capacity). Staff is helpful- food was quite good for 5 day stay. Many vegetarian options. Weather was good for 2 days then heavy rain and gusts so we stayed indoors but we were able to enjoy pool and snorkeling on first two days. Overall a great time- would have been better without the rain but can’t hold it against the resort and staff. Highly recommended!"
