"This hotel is a great location to walk to the marina IF guests are able to walk on old stone streets. The area around seems very sketchy but the hotel itself is quite nice and the view is great! We will definitely be back here. The shops were unique, the food delicious, and the whole city felt very safe and welcoming. So much to see and do up and down the coast just an easy car ride or taxi ride away too.

La Playa Ropa in Zihuatanejo is very iaid back and quiet. The Zihua locals are so nice. The restaurants down on the beach were excellant. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

Wonderful Mexican vacation town, which while it does have its share of foreign tourists and expats, is still primarily a Mexican town and destination and feels authentic. Quite an expensive town for Mexico, though.

We've been trying to decide which we prefer, Zihuatanejo or the Vallarta area. Zihua is much smaller as opposed to Vallarta's interminable beaches up and down. Also many more activities in the Vallarta area. For a long stay Vallarta is it for us.
